Ryan has spent more than two decades behind the chair. Keeping up with technique and trend is part of the job for him rather than something to get to when there’s a spare afternoon — and it shows most in the colour work.

The salon in Nedlands is deliberately small. One client at a time means the colour gets the attention it needs, the timing isn’t rushed, and you’re not passed between three people over the course of an appointment.

The business was previously Emm Ryan Australia in Northbridge. It’s now Ryan Waugh, on Stirling Highway in Nedlands — same hands, same standard.
